OFFICIAL TAXI IN LUXOR (TAHA TITO) ("we", "us", "our", "Tito") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, contact us, or make a booking, and how that information is used and protected.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit a booking form or contact form, we may collect your full name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country, pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates and times, number of passengers, and any special requests or notes you provide. When you submit a review, we collect the name, country, rating, review text and any photos you choose to add (photos are resized and their embedded location data is removed before upload). To protect the forms against spam and abuse, the website uses an automated security check and may store a one-way protected (hashed) form of your IP address. To confirm a booking, we may also ask for proof of your deposit payment (such as a screenshot or transfer receipt). We do not collect or store payment card, bank account or mobile wallet login details through this website, and no payment is processed through it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, confirm and organise your taxi transfer or tour, and communicate with you before, during and after your trip. Reviews are checked by Tito before publication; once approved, the name, country, rating, review text and photos you submitted are shown publicly on this website. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Forms, Email and WhatsApp
Information submitted through the booking and review forms is sent to the website's backend system, where it is stored and Tito is notified by email. WhatsApp is an optional way to contact Tito directly: if you choose to message him on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
This website uses your browser's local storage to remember your preferred language (English, Arabic, Spanish, German or Japanese) and your choice in the analytics consent banner, so you don't need to select them again on your next visit. With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use this website — for example which pages are viewed and whether the phone, email, WhatsApp, Google Maps or booking-form buttons are used. Google Analytics is loaded only after you select “Accept” in the consent banner. If you select “Decline” or make no choice, it is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives technical usage information such as the pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location. Advertising storage and ad personalisation remain switched off, and the information you enter in our booking and review forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, travel details, booking reference, notes or review — is never sent to Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time with the “Analytics settings” link at the bottom of every page; after you decline, Google Analytics is no longer loaded on the pages you open next. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Some pages include embedded content from third parties, such as YouTube videos or Google Maps, which may set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies.
6. Data Sharing
Your information is shared only with Tito or a trusted, vetted driver in order to fulfil your booking. It is also processed by the technical service providers this website relies on — such as website hosting, database and file storage, email delivery and spam protection — only as needed to operate these services and under their own terms and security measures. We do not share your information with marketing companies or unrelated third parties.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the information you share with us secure. However, no method of electronic communication is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet or via messaging apps.
