Born and raised in Luxor, Tito grew up in the shadow of the great temples of Karnak and Luxor, surrounded by the stories, history and warm hospitality that define life on the banks of the Nile. From a young age he learned to navigate the narrow streets of the East Bank and the dusty roads of the West Bank, building a deep personal connection with the city's ancient wonders.
Tito's full name is Taha Baghdadi. Before driving a taxi, he worked in Luxor as a calèche (horse-drawn carriage) driver — and some of his guests have known him for 16 years, first as a calèche driver and then as a taxi driver.
Today, Tito holds a valid driving license, has more than 14 years of experience in driving and tourism services in Egypt, and is one of the most highly rated local drivers on Google, with 222 Google reviews and a 5.0/5 rating. Over the years he has personally welcomed thousands of travellers from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and many other countries — picking them up from Luxor International Airport, guiding them through Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings, and transferring them safely to their Nile cruise ships and hotels.
